**6th Annual Mighty Mo Reunion**
The 6th Mighty Mo Reunion is in Sharpsburg on August 28th-29th.
The event will be located at the Antiedam Gallery. Shepherdstown Park.

**Notes From Margaret**
I have some good news and some bad news to share with you about the NHS Class of 1962.
First, Susan Wilkinson Corbin and her daughter Natalie are visiting Susan's mother in Laurel, MD from Barbados. Her mother Barbara celebrated her 90th Birthday at the end of July. Susan had just finished a tough round of radiation treatments for cancer before coming to Maryland. Her 6 weeks' exam found her to be cancer free. We are all so grateful for that! Having seen her last evening, I can report that she looks just great and is feeling well, also.
I am happy to report that, after at least 45 years, classmate Kathy Hager Hayes has been found living in Wasilla, Alaska. We have Zella Pfeil Crinigan to thank for this connection and are grateful to be in touch with Kathy again!
It is with sadness that I report two deaths that occurred in August, 2010.
First, our classmate David Leon Filvarof died on Thursday, August 5, after a 15-month battle with lung cancer. David lived in Silver Spring and leaves behind a wife Liz and two children, Miriam and Joe. I have attached the death notice which appeared in The Washington Post on Sat., Aug. 7.
Second, one of our teachers and sports coaches, Eugene V. Moran, age 82, died at his home in Laramie, Wyoming on Wednesday, August 4 (no cause given). He was a very good friend of Mr. Mann. He is survived by 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Bill Lynn forwarded to me Judge Monty Ahalt's blog at montyahalt.blogspot.com which has a very nice tribute to Dr. Moran.
We will miss them both. I am attaching the death notices of both to this email.

**Last Goodbye**
We have lost a lost of classmates over the years, In Memoriam, and since that list was created we have lost some others. I have not listed any of them here, because I wasn't sure I should, but I have been reminder that this is something we all should know and therefore remember these wonderful people. So here are some of those we have lost since that list was made.

Wilmington, NC 28401In response to my email of yesterday, I received an email back from BJ Hayden, wife of our dear classmate, Tim Hayden, letting me know that Tim had died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday, July 31, 2010, in South Carolina. He was actually in the hospital for another problem when he died. A memorial service was held for Tim in Rock Hill, SC on August 7.
For those living in the Washington area, there will be a visitation for Tim this Thursday, August 12, between 7 and 9 pm at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. I hope to see some of you there.
There will be another memorial service for Tim on Friday, August 13, at 11 am at Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, 4911 Ox Road, Fairfax, VA, with a luncheon to follow. A graveside service will commence directly after the luncheon at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA.

Tim was a very outgoing, fun-loving guy who loved the Class of 1962 and loved the gatherings at Ledo's. He recently sent me pictures of him, his brothers, and their families celebrating at Ledo's while he was in town before the old restaurant closed down. We are very saddened by his death, and he will be missed by all of his classmates.

Some of you may not have heard, but another of our classmates, Henry "Hank" Hartwick of College Park, MD, died on March 18, 2010. He will also certainly be missed.
If I have forgotten anyone, please let me know and I will update the list. So it is with a heavy heart and a God speed, we say goodbye to our classmates.
